Homework Help Pilot Program

This school year El Jardín has partnered with CSUMB’s Service Learning Institute to promote the value of education among farm workers and their families. In this brand new program, CSUMB Service Learners are collaborating with El Jardín Team Members to serve as “Homework Helpers” for children of NorCal employees.

Here at NorCal’s office, we have designed a learning space for students to come and receive focused and individual attention tailored to their academic goals. Whether a child is struggling with a particular subject or could just use some extra encouragement with their school assignments, our goal is to create a supportive experience to compliment classroom learning.
